Two nights ago i bought a Zenith 80 medium format SLR on ebay.  I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival so i can get started with it!  I will put some contact prints up once i've shot a few rolls, as I have yet to obtain/gain access to a medium format enlarger. Think I'm going to photograph my grannys house first, a nice continuation of what I've been doing most of the summer! Anyhoo, some updates will come soon.  I might upload some photographs of my grans house that I have enlarged & scanned in (35mm)... :)

I havent updated since christmas? That painting of my Granny is sitting finished in my parents living room now.  I'm going to give to to my granny for her 90th Birthday in October! Firstly, thank you to all the people who have featured and favourited my work and to all those who have added me to their watch list.  I cant thank you all individually, as that would take far too long! I have been set a summer project about "our environment".  I've chosen to focus on my grannys house, as it is one of the environments in my life.  I am producing a series of photographs that will be contained with in an old photograph album.  Text will accompany i

Recently I've been overcome by the most amazing urge to paint portraits, perhaps its because we had a portrait exhibition this week that we worked on over christmas and i did mine purely in text, no paint.  I think I will paint a portrait of my Gran, I've got a lot of mixed feelings towards her, but I still love her.  My mum got me some oil paints which are at home at the moment, I cant wait to use them - i love the dreamy effect you can acheive with them a lot easier than with acrylic.  I'll use it to my advantage in saying all i want to say.  I'll probably take photographs of her this week end when I visit, and get started asap.  I need to
